Who is Macie?
As a second-generation groomer, Macie has been immersed in the dog world her whole life. She has been grooming professionally since 2012. Macie started competing in 2014 and quickly rose to the top, becoming one of the youngest competitors in open division. Since then, Macie has catapulted her career in competitive grooming, with multiple Best in Show placements at the top grooming shows in the USA and Canada. She earned her Master Groomer certification from NDGAA in 2016. Macie earned a coveted spot on Groom Team USA in 2019, where she was ranked #5 and again in 2021 where she ranked #6. Macie has been nominated for Barkleigh Honors Up and Coming Groomer of the Year in 2017, and the Brian Stoppa Congeniality and Spirit Award in 2020 for her positive attitude in the industry. In 2021 Macie won season 1 of Pooch Perfect USA after winning more immunity challenges than any other team. Macie is passionate about continuing education and teaches techniques and skills at grooming shows across North America. She is a Brand Ambassador for three top brands that focus on quality and customer service. AGS (Affordable Grooming Shears) a long standing favorite of Macie’s for their commitment to the industry and the groomers themselves, Melanie Newman for their care of the dogs and their firm belief in the bond between pets and their parents., and Waggz for the quality of their products and engagement with the community. Macie Specializes in bichons and poodles however she has proved herself proficient in many breeds, and techniques.

you can add students to one on one lessons for $50 per person per hour for observation for $100 hands on.

7 hours of hands on or demo instruction for a Private salon and their employees. The lessons will be tailored to the needs and abilities of the group. Large teams of 15 or more may be an additional cost.

4 hour seminar including demos of your choice, for up to 30 people. All Demo dogs must be provided unless otherwise discussed.

Macie will start the day with two, to three demos of your choice. From bathing, prep, pet styles, to show trims. the possibilities are endless!

This is the best way to follow up a morning of absorbing all the new tips and tricks. Students can bring any dog in any trim to work on during this 4 hrs of hands on instruction. students can bring dogs with 6-8 weeks of growth or a pre groomed dog for critiques.
Demo Dog Rental
Demo dogs require booking minimum 6 weeks in advance. If dog is flying student is responsible for cost of travel . Dog will be prepped and well maintained. Cost of dog is based on breed and trim.
